Environmental humanities

The environmental humanities focus on reframing society and social change in light of the relationships between human communities and the biosphere.  Our mission is:

1) fostering collective reflection on environmental issues through a multi- and interdisciplinary approach, open to multiple perspectives (empirical and reflexive, historical and thematic, conceptual and field-based);
2) participating in the debates that animate the environmental humanities by developing a space for dialogue and exchange for the various fields and disciplines represented within the IGD. To this end, we organize a research seminar, conferences and other scientific events.
